Trumpeter Jerry Drake is a musical educator and has been the leader for the past two decades of the Front Page Big Band based in Maspeth, NY. He recently released a solo CD of original works in Songs From My Heart.The seven-track disc features Drake's original compositions and arrangements, as well as his contributions on trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone, organ, piano and lead vocals.
